Reading Passages is an experiment in translating the text of a book, randomly chosen from the stacks in the Civic Center branch of the San Francisco library. Performed by Nadia Oka

Language and Gesture is an ongoing series of research works on the semiotics of movement. Building on ideas of Labanotation, American Sign Language, and forms of yoga, exercise and dance, this work investigates the full body as communication technology, and the potentials therein.
